Finding the right setting for your child is of equal importance and great care has been taken to ensure Camelot Day Nursery offers a home from home environment, allowing children to feel safe, happy and entirely comfortable.
The nursery is located in a fantastic position set within easy distance to all major roads in and out of Chelmsford, Essex, and approximately an 8 minute walk to the main train route into London Liverpool Street.
Camelot Day Nursery Ltd has been established since February 2011 and is a family run business. The nursery is owned by members of the Hawkins family, a father, daughter and son who all have a passion for providing the highest quality of childcare.

Opening Times
Our nursery is open Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 6.00pm for 51 weeks of the year (however early opening at 7.30 am and late collection up until 6.30pm is available).
We close on all bank holidays and for the week in between Christmas and New Year. We will also be closed one day a year for staff training and one day for an annual outing, which you will also be invited to attend.

“Staff place emphasis on building exceptionally secure bonds with children and their families. Children settle swiftly into nursery life, including children who speak English as an additional language. They feel reassured that there is always someone familiar nearby to offer them genuine affection and support.
Staff work particularly well with other professionals to improve outcomes for children who have special educational needs and/or disabilities. They seize opportunities to complete specialist programmes which helps to enrich their understanding of how best to support children’s social and communication needs.
Staff provide children with effective support to help them explore, investigate and follow their own learning. Their strong teaching skills help children to make good progress from their starting points.
The nursery is led by a passionate and reflective manager. The manager communicates well with staff, children and parents to identify ways to improve outcomes for children.”
